C600 MMS Settings

Hello sirs,

Please help me setup the MMS for my SPV C600 phone.

FIRST I want to let you know that I've read I guess all the setup related guides on this forum and I've tryed it all, with no success.

Also my mobile operator is of no help!!!

If you think you can help I will provide you with as much info as I can.

Here are the settings, just follow a standard guide, and insert these where required.

Proxy Address (if required) - 010.000.010.010

Port - 9201

APN - mms

MMS URL - http://mms.moldcell.md/cmmsc/post

GPRS APN - internet

Username - gprs

Password - gprs

Thanks a lot for help but it still is not working.

Ok GPRS is ok = i have internet.

- When I use the GPRS connection for the MMS i get on top of the screen a box with an outgoing arrow, but eventually i get error.

- If I make&use another GPRS connection with the APN= mms - i get error emidiatly when I try to send the message.

HEEEEELLLPPPP :D(((((((((((((

What should be under WAP Gateway in the MMSC settings?? (tried the ip, mms)

P.S. - Stubborn mobile. I've been trying to make this MMS thing work for a year now.

From time to time it makes me mad and I try again and again.

I hope someone will help me break it :) he does not know who he is putting up with : ))

Have you tried setting up the phone like this :)

GPRS connection:

Description: GPRS MMS

Connects to: Secure WAP network

Access point: mms

Username:

Password:

Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

I.P address:

In Data connections make 'Secure WAP Network: GPRS MMS'

Start-Messaging-Media Messages

Menu-Options-Account Setup-Media Messages

Menu- Edit connections - Menu- Add

Menu>Edit connections

Menu-Add

Description: GPRS MMS

MMSC Address: http://mms.moldcell.md/cmmsc/post

Data Connection: Secure WAP Network

Gateway: WAP 1.0 Gateway

I.P Address: 10.0.10.10

Port: 9201

* or try WAP 2.0 gateway and port 8080 *

Done

Done

Server: GPRS MMS

Download Messsages: automatically

Outgoing message size: less than 100kb

Allowed message types: personal

Now try sending an MMS to yourself or to an E-mail address.

So dear Modaco administration I gues it would be a good idea to add my Country too to the list with GPRS and MMS settings. Its small, it's poor but I guess it deserves to be among others in your list.

So if you are interested its:

Country: Republic of Moldova (or just Moldova)

Operator: Moldcell

GPRS APN - internet

Username - gprs

Password - gprs

MMS Settings for MW 5.0

Start - Settings - Connections - GPRS - Menu - Add -

Description : Moldcell MMS

Passwork: (blank)

Primary DNS: (blank)

Secondary DNS: (blank)

IP address: (blank)

Done - Done - Done - Done

Start - Settings - Connections - Menu - Advanced -

Start - Messaging - MMS - Menu - Options - Account Options - MMS - Menu - MMSC Settings - Menu - New
