Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Yes, I don't see why that's not possible... I will talk to my friends at Expansys and see what I can do :) Anything in particular you fancy? P
Guest Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Yes, I don't see why that's not possible... I will talk to my friends at Expansys and see what I can do :D Anything in particular you fancy? P Nothing in particular (although if you could swing the upcoming htc cavalier for free that would be sweet :D. Seriously though, I think a few quid off anything would be well appreciated. I could go for a new BT headset any day now :) Will watch this space! thanks Paul gerry
Guest tsutton Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 That's a shame... my T Mobile contract is not to be due to end till this July. :D Hopefully you will have something similar on offer at that time. To others who ordered this - lucky you! :)
Guest hippotech Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Bit confused !! Your ad mentions wifi, but the only reviews of the phone I can find cite the lack of wifi as a drawback. Before I jump the sinking ship that is Orange ( in my opionion only :) ) can you confirm please. Hippo
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 That is an error on the product page, i'll get that corrected immediately. P
Guest bocsta Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Yes, I don't see why that's not possible... I will talk to my friends at Expansys and see what I can do :) Anything in particular you fancy? P How about a Samsung SGH-i600 deal with Expansys? Since Vodafone have picked up the Samsung i320, will they also go with the i600 ? Any ideas on which UK operators are planning to pick up the i600 ? Also would love to know which UK ops are planning on picking up the SGH-i760 (not the SCH-i760)

Guest hippotech Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 The page will be corrected in the next upload, which happens tonight. P So no wifi then :) The T&Cs for web and walk say messaging is prohibited - do they mean MSN here. Sorry for the questions, but I want to make sure before commiting to another 18 month jobby - Orange managed to tie me down to a less than useful deal and I don't want to get bitten again. Hippo
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Technically in the T-Mobile WnW Terms and Conditions IM is not allowed. That's not to say we don't all use it tho :) P
Guest Jamma14 Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 (edited) Request for 'Deal of the Week': Some form of discount on the i-Phono Mini bluetooth stereo headphones at expansys? :) Edited January 10, 2007 by Jamma14
Guest Jay3gsm Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 With WnW you are not officially allowed IM in the bundle. But as Paul says, it doesn't stop you using IM :) The completely unofficial line from T-Mobile is they won't look at low usage. But if you abuse the system then it's in the T's & C's to allow them to withdraw the service from you.
Guest jazuk Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 The line rental side of this deal is a little confusing. I'm assuming it shows the half price line rental? Which lasts for 8 months on the WnW package, so after that is up, it goes back up to £42.50? (for 10 months)
Guest Masonary Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Do you have any idea how annoying this is, given that I purchased this phone not 12 days ago direct from t-mobile on the flext 30 web n walk. Great deal man, very nice.
Guest cyrillesley Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 Hi Newbie here as a poster! This deal is a great one, but not quite what I am after. Anyone know of the best deal on this: I want to buy a Vario 2 on T-Mobile's Flext30 with Webn'Walk plus. Nice one, Cyril :)
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 15, 2007 Report Posted January 15, 2007 PM :) As a side note, ALL contract purchases in the MoDaCo Shop qualify for a free MoDaCo Ad Free subscription or £10 Plus discount or £10 CamerAware discount... I haven't got round to getting it added to the pages yet :D P
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 Offer extended for another week! :) P
Guest Webreaper Posted January 16, 2007 Report Posted January 16, 2007 I looked at this deal and thought it was a corker, until I realised that the £21 price is after the half-price line-rental's been applied. Ten months @ £42/month is a bit steep! :)
Guest atonks Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 I looked at this deal and thought it was a corker, until I realised that the £21 price is after the half-price line-rental's been applied. Ten months @ £42/month is a bit steep! :) That is a bit steep. If it was something with Wi-Fi (Vario II) and on FlexT 30 Web'n'Walk I'd be signing up now.
Guest Aidan Bree Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 On a related note, I am taking requests for next week's 'Deal of the Week'... an Orange deal perhaps? :) P I am looking for a deal on the MDA Vario II on Flext 35. Best price I can find is from Tmobile direct.....30 pounds per month and 70 up front.... Cheers Aidan
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 We do it free of charge with free delivery and free MoDaCo Ad Free (or a ten quid discount on CamerAware or Plus), but you don't get the initial WnW discount or the monthly discount. P
