WM5 Software Compatibility

Greetings.

I got a bunch of questions, folks:

1. Are applications from Smartphone 2002/2003/SE compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0/QVGA?

2. Since MS made a somewhat unified badge with their portable devices -- calling it Windows Mobile (5.0), are WM5 software compatible for both Smartphone and PPC?

Some apps from 2003 and before work on 2005, but may not look correctly on the 320 x 240 screen because older devices have a 176 x 220 screen resolution.

Smartphone and PPC are still seperate devices. SOme apps work cross platform but most do not. Some SP apps work on PPCs but only a few PPC apps work on SPs.
