Broken screen, how do I get my things from the phone?

I dropped my phone and the screen has cracked and is now totally unviewable. I want to save everything off my phone, I've sync'd my contacts with activesync but it does't do texts. How can I get them off without using the actual phone?

Do you mean you want to save your Text Messages(SMS)?

When I broke the screen on my SP5/XDA IQ I managed to use SOTI Pocket Controller to remotely control it, and using Jeyo Mobile Extender I was able to get all the text messages off it as well.

You can get a replacement screen from eBay for about £25, but its a bit fiddly to get the case/housing of the phone off. But I was surprised how easy it the circuit boards fit together and the LCD just slots into place.
