Guest Gortz Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 I dropped my phone and the screen has cracked and is now totally unviewable. I want to save everything off my phone, I've sync'd my contacts with activesync but it does't do texts. How can I get them off without using the actual phone? Cheers!
Guest Jurjak05 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Do you mean you want to save your Text Messages(SMS)?
Guest sebflipper Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 When I broke the screen on my SP5/XDA IQ I managed to use SOTI Pocket Controller to remotely control it, and using Jeyo Mobile Extender I was able to get all the text messages off it as well. You can get a replacement screen from eBay for about £25, but its a bit fiddly to get the case/housing of the phone off. But I was surprised how easy it the circuit boards fit together and the LCD just slots into place.
