Guest dishe Posted January 23, 2007 Report Posted January 23, 2007 Hey all, I've been happily using the A2DP hack on my imate sp5m for a while now, but just recently noticed that I couldn't send/receive files to a friends' phone anymore! It used to work fine, (I know, out of the box you can't really send BT, so there was some sort of .cab that enabled it initially that I found over at surrealnetworks.com/mpx) I recall just hitting "beam" and then the bluetooth devices would show up in my list as if I were in front of them with my IR port. In any event, I started poking around the registry, and I see now that in HKLM/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Bluetooth/Services/ there are 6 entries with a long string of letters and numbers. Each one of these contains a string that defines a profile. The six as I see them are: Serial Port Headset Wireless Stereo Hands Free Input Device Activesync Could my problem just be that there is no entry for OBEX? Can someone help me put the entry for it back in? Any help would be appreciated!

If not, you cannot receive files over bluetooth and IR. Also try to toggle "OBEX authentication (Passkey) required" in Settings->Connections->Bluetooth. Maybe it helps. The registry settings are the same for me. Edited January 23, 2007 by eisbaer82
