The case of the missing pen/pointer/whatever

Over the last three days I have managed to lose 2 pens/pointers/ what ever the proper name is for the thing is.

Having started to pay attention to what I am doing I can see that the pen is no longer seating itself correctly in the slot. Give it a jolt and it falls out.

Anyone else had this and will Orange fix it or am I stuffed?

i have lost tons of them, ended up ordering pack of three ;-)) anyway, same problem as you, it kept on falling out (ooops, there i go again ;-)) ) so, i tied a piece of cotton around the end bit, the bit the doesn't go into the device. looked a bit tacky but worked. i also melted a groove into the end bit, again so it gets a better grip when it sits inside the phone. i hope this helps.
