Guest cxt32 Posted January 28, 2007 Report Posted January 28, 2007 Hi, I've just set up my Outlook e-mail account (POP3) to sync with my SPV M5000. I understand that it sends and receives every time it is synced with my laptop. Is it possible for me to connect (using GPRS) to my POP3 account when I'm away from my computer to receive new e-mail? I know this is possible if I set up a new POP3 e-mail account on my mobile device, but I'd rather just have one e-mail account. Thanks.

If its a pop3 account however then you would need to set it up as a seperate pop3 account as well. Its not the end of the world though. You can use outlook (and your devices outllok account) most of the time, then when out and about, you can download and reply to new emails via the pop3 account on your device, then when back at your pc, do a send receive and it will still download the mails you read on your device (unless you have deleted them on the device and then done a send/receive since). In order to get everything working as it should - I would get an exchange server account from 4smartphone.com and enjoy the best of all works.
