Really Wierd GPRS Problem

Hi all,

I have an HTC P3300 running WM5 and no additional apps.

All my connections work (wifi, activesync & bluetooth) - except for GPRS.

I can actually connect using GPRS manually (and I can confirm that when I do this I get a valid ip and dns address). Also, when I connect manually, the GPRS connection shows up in the connections window, as expected, with the connection time counter running normally...

But when I try to send/receive email or surf the net using GPRS (with or without the connection initiated manually) I get a connection error.

I can send/receive email fine over wifi & activesync - so I can guarantee my POP accunts are set up correctly.

This is obviously a system issue. Anyone got any ideas where I should start looking?

ps. my service provider (TIM in Italy) reports that my GPRS account is fully functional.
