Guest Blakey Posted January 30, 2007 Report Posted January 30, 2007 Just tried to download 'Sky Anytime on Mobile' to my m600. For the uninitiated this is the service which allows you to look at the Sky schedule and set recording and such on your machine using your phone. Its available for Sky+ customers. When trying to connect and download the software the Sky web page simply tells me that the service is not available for my device. Now, I appreciate that PPC phones are fairly non-mainstream but surely of all the phones out there in the world these have the potential to do this? Has anyone got a work around for this on the PPC? (note: I see that they have this as a future option just using the Sky.com web page so when that happens anyone with a Internet capable phone will be able to use it, but in the mean time - any answers?) Cheers! Blakey
Guest Seraphic Posted January 31, 2007 Report Posted January 31, 2007 Its a java application, so theoretically it should work, but i havent tried it.

The thoery is correct......in practice however it just dosen't operate on the windows mobile platform....yet ! If you search closely here on modaco, over at coolsmartphone and also on the digitalspy forums you'll find that there are many, many folks eagerly awaiting it's release - me included. Our day wll come.
