Use Co-Pilot or other GPS software?

Hi, I'm thinking of getting one of the T-mobile devices that have a GPS antenna. Is it better to get the bundle which includes the Co-pilot software or to buy a separate GPS software/kit to install yourself? The price difference is up to £120 on the plans I've been looking at. I don't know what's a reasonable price for the GPS kit?

Yeah, it sounds great, but I'm looking at a cheaper tariff and that means the handset price with the GPS software is quite high.
