Hi,

Does anybody know about application (or solution) which enable to hide my Caller ID for all calls except selected contacts in address book?

I know there is option in Settings to provide my Caller ID to "Only my contacts". But I need more.

I don't know about Bratislava (or even where that is!) but in the UK you can dial 141 before a contacts number to block your number, and (I think) 1471 before a number to show your own number

Check with your network as they might have the same sort of thing

If they do, and you want to block all but a few contacts from seeing your number you can block your number under "Settings", and then for the few contacts you want to show your number to add the 1471 (or your equivalent) to the start of their phone numbers.

I know about this workaround. In Slovakia (where Bratislava is) with Ornage we use *31# and #31#, but disadvantage of this solutions is that if you add this before mobile phone number (to contacts) for axample *31#0905xxxxxx you are not able to send sms (mobile phone = sms number) for this kind of number. I think WM doesn't support this kind of numbers for sms messages.

On my C600, I can go into "Settings >> Phone >>Caller ID" and set "Provide my caller ID to":

Everyone,

Noone,

or Only my contacts.

Setting it to Only my contacts means anyone in your contact list gets your number, but anyone else doesn't.

Is this what you require? (If it's on your type of phone of course.)
