Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Anyone got it working yet? I have the 'pink card ', but haven't managed to find any drivers yet :-( P
Guest sporkguy Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 A pink one? Ouch, you're gonna want to upgrade that thing soon mate. I'm still looking forward to the day I can get a WnW card for my Macbook Pro and HSDPA that badboy.
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 Pink is just the non HSDPA version right, and silver is HSDPA? P
Guest amirjs Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Hi guys, I have finally got the T-Mobile card working on Vista.... with absolutely no help from T-Mobile... Vodafone have released Vista compatible software (shame on T-Mobile for not being up to speed on this). The Vodafone software download (available free from Vodafone's site (http://www.business.vodafone.com/site/bus/public/enuk/p_vista.jsp)) contains a huge variety of data card drivers for Vista, including Option drivers. Option manufacture the T-Mobile card and the drivers are compatible. I have attached a zip file containing just the option drivers to save you the hassle of installing Vodafone's client software to get at the drivers. Make sure you uninstall all T-Mobile software (T-mobile drivers cause sudden blue screens when you insert the card) and then insert your card, when it fails to find the drivers select the option to browse your computer for them. Select the location you have extracted this zip file to. You will have to repeat this 3 or 4 times as it installs the various components of the data card. You then need to go into phones and modems in control panel and go double click on the data card. Select the advanced tab and enter this initialization string " AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","general.t-mobile.uk" " Once all this is complete you can then create a manual dial-up networking connection using the normal process. You need *99# as the phone number, "t-mobile" as username and "t-mobile" as password. Should work fine! Good luck... Apologies for bad writing style - trying to do a million other things and rushing this, but thought people might appreciate the solution.Option.zip
