sync wmp11 vista

problem! want to sync video to smartphone but vista media player 11 deos not recognise c550 as a video player , video settings greyed out. video sync works on lobster but wmp11 does not see the sorage card in the phone so can only use internal memory.can sync directly on the card using card reader but again a only music, video settings greyed out.. microsoft are pants i always have problems with thier stuff just renembering bluetooth sync nightmare. :) any ideas?
