Hey guys

my nice new sony bluetooth stereo earphones work fine once i've selected 'use as wireless stereo' in the treo 750's bluetooth settings. However, if i turn off the earphones and just use my phone normally, when i want to listen to music again they won't work until i go back and select it AGAIN! however, the play/pause etc. buttons on the earphones work fine (auto pair). so it seems it's the a2dp that won't auto pair.

I've seen mention of this around the net. Does anyone know anything about it? If not, does anyone have any in-ear bluetooth earphones they can guarantee *will* re-pair? (i have the opportunity to return these ones).

Does anyone own the jabra 320s?

I'm sure i'm not the only person who hates having to go thru a menu system just to listen to music. Ideally i only really want normal earphones with a lanyard remote, but they don't exist (i'm considering buying the jabra, unplugging its earphones and just clipping it onto a pair of sennheisers).

My Sonorix OBH-110's will auto pair in headset mode if i just switch them on but ONLY when i have an incoming call. Can't say i've tried to press play/skip etc without going through the menu systems.

I agree going through all the menu systems is a tad annoying but its something, personally, I can put up with. After all I am content with having half decent A2DP on my Hermes AT ALL as without tweaking its quite frankly terrible.

... bugger.

So to listen to music on yours you have to go thru the menu system every time. jeez... it's almost enough to switch me to a sony symbian (if they didn't have proprietary memory cards).

Oh well... i guess i'll get that jabra to use as a remote, and have the actual sound coming thru the 2.5mm jack
