MDA Vario II Bluetooth acting weirdly

Hi,

My MDA Vario II Bluetooth is starting to act weirdly. It seems to not be able to discover devices based on their names but display them with hexadecimal strings instead. No connections are possible at this moment to any devices. I've tried hard resetting my hermes but problem still persist. Anyone had similar problems before and/or any solutions to this problem?

Sounds like it can't resolve the device names but instead shows the bluetooth MAC address. Maybe a rather large error in the bluetooth stack preventing it communicating properly?

If a hard reset didn't solve it you have two options:

Install another ROM on your hermes and void your warranty (personal recommendation: HTC 1.35 ROM)

or

Send it back to HTC and get a warranty repair done on it

Thanks for your advice phil, already sent to T-Mobile and still waiting the result. By the way, I've heard that people who sent their vario for repairs ended up getting previous batch instead like the famous HTC634 which has screen alignment problems. I'm scred that mine will be replaced with old batch vario too..
