mda pro broken d-pad

My d-pad stucks on left when i press it and now i cant use it at all.If I write something and want to use the d-pad to move between letters its impossible,and if i press it by accident it will start hopping my shortcuts on programs menu.Only way to stop this is to turn the screen of wait for few secs and turn it back on.

I have had this problem on my d-pad since i purchased my mda (1year ago) , but i haven't really cared to try to repair it, but now when im trying to sell it i would like to repair it if possibly.Do you have any idea how?Is it some kind of software bug or is it just the button assembly? How do i take my mda apart to fix the button?
