Tomtom screen problem

Hi, my trusty QTek9100 has ben running tomtom 5.100 for some time now without problems but recently started suffering gremlins. Firstly it started locking up the whole phone while navigating - only way to get out of it was soft reset. After this became a problem I did a hard reset thinking it might have been a memory problem - just trying to clear any accumulated junk. It seems to have stopped doing that now, but has a new trick. Now when I program in my destination, it brings up the route and then when I ok that to go to the navigation screen, teh bottom of the screen changes to teh navigation screen, but the main part of the screen continues to show the previous screen. It continues to navigate ok, giving verbal instructions, but will not show the scrolling map. While I appreciate that this might be a tomtom problem rather than a phone problem, I was hopiung that someone may have some thoughts, as tomtom have not been particualarly helpful in teh past!
