I am trying to get the sim lock off my phone. I have run the remove_cadxxx file I received from france telecom which has switched the security off and I have tried to run the spvunlock in bootloader mode but I get the following error.

hideclear 650515 "found a sniffer hah.

can any one help please?

After 2 days of endless searching and trying I found a solution

for you Pauloc

it is written for c500 but i tried on c550 and it works the same

FIRST...an easy way to handle CERTIFICATE checking off

the operation is easy..start CMD here is screenshot

Certificate checking is now OFF.

so its very easy "Certchk.exe off" and it should install program without certificate checking

Since i cannot provide link for that file download from microsoft link above

The guide is from this link below but my remarks are and addition, the only correction is that killing the simlock.exe process is done by TASK MANAGER inside the application not DOS box

first think i that you have to download the application from www.soti.com

pocket controller 5.07 and within 10-15 minutes you will have it unlocked

so

1. You kill proccess simlock with TASK MANAGER

2. copy PHC REGEDIT on the phone

3. run REGEDIT and change the required keys

4. restart phone

5 You kill process simlock again

6. RUN SDA_ApplicationUnlock from the PC

7. restart phone

8. You kill process simlock again

9. RUN SPV-Services from your PC..and it should do the work

when you see "reading Encrypted blocks..." it should be OK

go ahead

10. restart and WALA

its done
