Guest lobo71 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Hey, I have a SPV Orange C500 and i cannot use active sync with USB. Active Sync works great with bluetooth, but not with USB. Active Sync doesn't see the phone. It's not a hardware problem cause i reset phone after saving system+data and after reset it works. Can anybody help me cause i don't want to reset all system (i have many softs and my registry is tweaked since long time) ? Thks
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Have you checked that you have USB enabled in the Activesync options menu?
Guest lobo71 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Have you checked that you have USB enabled in the Activesync options menu? Of course yes. I think the problem is with a key in the registry but i don't know how to do.

Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Using PHM Registry Editor... HKCU\Control Panel\Comm then click Value (left soft key). You'll see 2 keys in there: AutoCnct and Cnct. The former is a reg DWORD, the ltter, a String. Check if AutoCnct is assigned the value of 1. 1 means auto-connect device once connected to PC via ActiveSync, 0 means disable auto-connect feature.

AutoCnct is 1 and it doesn't work. I tried many times restart the phone but no result. Any other idea ?
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Have you checked your firewall settings? That's always a good one for stopping an Activesync connection.

If i hard reset my phone, it works but I don't want to reinstall all the softwares in my phone and all my settings. That's why I think it can be a registry problem.
