MDA Vario - Update worth it?

Hello all,

I have a Vario (wizard), and get along pretty well with it (despite my hate of Windows mobile...). I've now had it about a year, without an update. I understand that there is a newer version of the OS available, and was wondering if it's worth it. I'm not interested in push email, so are there any other fixes and improvements that are worth it. One thing I'd love to fix is how when you send a text message with it set to silent, when you dismiss the 'message sent', the status light continues to flash amber instead of the usual green.

I would say yes purely due to the faster boot time you get. With the software i got with my phone originally even at the begining it was way over a minute to boot, now it's about 20 seconds max, and that's with an official rom (mine is cid locked so cant install many of the custom roms without unlocking)
