Guest stoker1 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Open up the program to look at Ppoint and usually on most menus, you can go to device, and look for your storage card. I cannot see a storage card as an option, and thought that at least that there would be an option somewhere on an options menu to see a storage card to get your files.. but No.. This for me doesn't seem normal that I can't do this on this program (after all, I think most people keep their movies, pictures etc on storage cards).. Is this for real? or am I missing something here? I have checked out the whole folder structure that unveils without finding that storage card. Thx for any suggestions, help

Guest stoker1 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 Sure can,, if I go to the actual file in any of my file explorer programs and click on the ppt,, I get to see the power point..but isn't the main idea to be able to see the file inside the program? can you just browse to the ppt using your devices file manager and open it from there? gr
Guest matt1971 Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Hi, There used to be a hidden file created in the root of storage cards called something like ignore_my_docs and just like it says if you have any doc's in my documents and this file exists you wont see them - might be worth checking to see if its there. Havent heard of this since WM5, but worth a look. Matt
Guest mandt Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Its just a limitation of the OS, in that it can't handle subfolders on the Card its the same for Word, Notes etc Put a file on the ROOT of your card and you'll see it appears when you open Powerpoint (with all folders selected), stick it in a subfolder and it's like it isn't there Dunno if there's a solution...
