Guest Gazza316 Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 I'm thinking of getting the i-mate SP5, first off is that a bad move? i have a C600 at the mo, love all the features and what it does but have had problems with the handset itself, had to have it repaired twice in a year. so basically is the SP5 on a par with the C600? Where can i get as SP5 on contract as i have trouble locating them on the net? Cheers Gazza
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 SP5 = C600 with WiFi, a little bit fatter but a nice handset. Not available on contract yet... you might be best waiting for the Vox? P

Guest chucky.egg Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 You can get the O2 XDA IQ on contract, which is a re-branded SP5
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 Oh yeah, my bad! And there's a Voda version too... P
Guest p2daz Posted February 9, 2007 Report Posted February 9, 2007 It's a lovely phone BUT ,,, in my opinion one of the most fragile phones i've ever owned in regards to the build quality, in just under a year of ownership i've had to replace the keypad membrane twice, i have had to replace the battery, the speaker has needed attention and now the joystick has decided to give up the ghost, BUT... don't let me put you off :) I don't consider myself a 'rough' user either, the phone still looks as good as new - always had a screen protector on it and a silicon skin(sometimes) and never been dropped. It's a shame really because it's generally been a very good phone.
