Mobilcast/J2ME bug

Hi,

I'm checking out a Cingular 3125 and am having trouble getting one of my 'essential' applications to run. The app is called Mobilcast, and it's a J2ME app. The app starts and runs fine, but as soon as it is about to start streaming a podcast, it bombs out.

Question is, why? I suspect it has something to do with sound, but obviously can't figure out much more than that. Are there issues with certain sound media and J2ME on these phones?

And, finally, if I can't get this software working, is there anything else as good and as free? :)
