Moto Q video on PC, .NET framework 2 for moto Q?

Does anyone know how to convert the video taken on my motorola Q to mpeg or avi or anything else? I do know that apple's quicktime plays the 3G2 files for me on my pc.

Also, Is it ok to download .NET framework 2 or whatever on my smartphone? I want to use the apps that require it. or will it not work?

I have a Moto Q and installed the .net framework with no problems. I talked with my phone company's tech support beforehand and they said it was going to be no problem. Hope that helps.
