I found and tried this app. Very interesting but still seems to be in beta mode really.

Positives :D

Installs and runs whilst disconnected from the web

Nice mobile friendly interface

Lots of option for configuration

Download maps for different countries

Installs and stores to storage cards

Negatives :)

Couldn't change the start point from somewhere in Germany!!

Navigation and route directions are all chargeable

Very large files (by mobile standards - 30+MB!!)

Could be slow when running - I installed to a M3100

Prone to freezing

Not always very intuitive

Would I recommend it?

Give it a go but be prepared for a little rough around the edges software
