Guest zetecblack Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Hi I recently got hold of a T-mobile SDA and as i noticed its made by samsung is there any way of getting rid of the tmobile stuff because i have it unlocked to O2 but the T-Mobile stuff is annoying. Thanks Matt N.B any other useful tips would be great as i'm new to this Smartphone game.
Guest awarner (MVP) Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 Welcome to the site :) The Tmobile SDA (UK not USA version) is made by HTC and not Samsung. The SDA codenamed Sonata is a fairly unique device in the Smartphone series, Tmobile were the only company to sell this actual design. Technically you may be able to flash the phone with a ROM from the Dopod 585, O2 Xphone IIm, Qtek 8100 but as these devices are from a slightly different model and there may be button configuration issues so I would not suggest trying to flash the device unless you are sure you know what you are doing.
Guest zetecblack Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I'm in the UK but i think the phone is from europe maybe germany because when you do a reset it goes to german.
