Guest kwoodall Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 (edited) At somepoint, something, somewhere, has gone wrong. When I go to Settings -- Remove Programs there is nothing listed in there at all. If I install a new program, it still remains empty. I've hit a real problem here folks and can't find anything online MS's knowledgebase or elsewhere online that can help. Now I'm turning to you folks. Cingular 2125 -- WM5 -- Help! Help please! Guest Disco Stu Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 This might be the old problem of the programs getting lost by the system. Can you see them in the Add/Remove Progs tool in ActiveSync ? After you have removed a few things the list should reappear on the phone. The limit is 35 items or something like that. Do you still have all the folders with .tmp files in \Windows \AppMgr ? If so, you should still be okay. If not the best solution is to reinstall and then uninstall rather than deleting files & registry entries manually.
Guest kwoodall Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I installed most files directly on the phone without activesync, but I'll check. My biggest problem is that I installed MultiIE to check it out and now can't uninstall it. I downloaded it directly to the phone so it won't be on Activesync will it? MultiIE really has IE messed up and I need to get rid of it. Kermit
Guest Disco Stu Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 MultiIE is a Pocket PC application and doesn't seem to come in a Smartphone version so you might be looking at a hard reset unless their support can help you :)
