GPRS Receive Problems

I have recently deployed a GPRS application to the Orbit which has been successfully operating on XDAIIi for nearly a year without any apparent GPRS issues.

With the Orbit, I have noticed that GPRS packets are transmitted from the device far more reliabily that they are received. The device seems to go deaf or at least has significantly less receive sensitivity. In one test I had an Orbit and XDAIIi side by side both on O2 network, but the Orbit failed to receive more often than not, working in doors. Have tried many devices (Xda Orbit) and the problem seems to be general, rather than faulty device.

Has anybody experienced any such problems, as I;ve noticed the gerneral feedback on this newish device is quite favourable.
