T-Mobile USA to bring Windows Mobile 6 to the Dash

Earlier this morning we posted the full Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 press release here.

I thought one point in particular was worthy of it's own mention... that fact that T-Mobile USA are the first operator to announce a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade, which will be for the T-Mobile Dash.

From the press release... "The popular T-Mobile Dash will be updated with Windows Mobile 6 and be available in the coming months. Current T-Mobile Dash owners will also be able to upgrade existing devices with Windows Mobile 5.0 to Windows Mobile 6."

How sweet is that? :) No word yet on pricing, but the upgrade looks to be available as soon as March... so watch this space!

I'm not posting this for any reason.. well, bordem.. and a FYI type deal. Even tho it doesn't help; really.

anyway..

I called tmobile they said this:

The dash update will be availble later this year, it will only be for the dash. No information on weather it is a download or if you have to go to the store.

i wanna see an article like this for the hermes. they have to provide a free WM6 upgrade for the hermes if their gonna do it for the dash. wouldnt u think?
