Which Phone

Ok I have been a confirmed SPV addict since the E100 and have had various ones since then I presently have a c600 which I have always been slightly disappointed as I find it sluggish at times, now the joy stick has gone and my patience run out. (Orange say they will fix it btw).

The question is where do I go next?

I am going to make the leap to a PDA phone, although I dislike the slide out keyboards as they add bulk and because I can use the stylus and write I doubt I would ever use it as a feature.

Orange say I am entitled to an upgrade even though I have a couple of months left on my contract, hurrah. I thought about the M600 (a bit old hat now I guess) or do I hang on a bit for the M700.

Went into the Orange shop and looked at a Orange SPV M3100 (but is has the slideout keyboard) and the last straw was finding out the mini-USB headphones especially after finally after finding a 2.5mm headphone that works happily with my phone (I guess this is the same on the M700). I use quite a lot of the features on the phone but the MP3 playing side is important to me and the headphones normally supplied are terrible, had a quick look on the net and could not find many options on the mini-USB headphones, it looked like back to an adaptor, groan.

The other option is to wait until I am out of contract and the world is my ostrich but where then?

I have looked at the HP iPAQ rw6815 but it is a lot of cash.

Any one got any recommendations?
