Guest xeron Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 (edited) I have just got Vista and Windows Media Player will only show the phone's (Orange M3100 - ROM 1.23.61.4) internal storage - can't see the 2GB memory card. Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix this? It shows up fine in explorer but I want to copy DRM music across. It worked in XP. Cheers Edit: oh and i have the latest Windows Mobile Device Center (well the one that windows update supplies) Edited February 13, 2007 by xeron

Guest geogruven Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 I'm having the very same problem and have posted to both Howard Forums and Microsoft.Public.SmartPhone with the following: Blackjack storage card not visible from WMP11 or Yahoo! Music Jukebox under Windows Vista Ultimate Having recently upgraded my desktop to Vista Ultimate from XP Pro SP2, I am no longer able to see the Storage Card (2 Gig MicroSD) using either Windows Media Player 11.0.6000.6324 or Yahoo! Music Jukebox 2.0.2.042 from my Desktop. The Blackjack Storage Card **IS** visible from Windows Mobile Device Center/Portable Devices/Blackjack/ and I can even drag and drop MP3s (which don't have DRM) to the Blackjack. Then, I can listen to them on the Blackjack once they are added to the library. From the Blackjack using WMP 10 Mobile (10.3 Build 15100) I can still see and play the 3 Yahoo Music Unlimited CDs (which are under DRM) on the Storage Card that where put there when my Desktop was running XP Pro SP2. Podcast MP3s also work fine. Is this a known issue and is there a workaround and/or fix? TIA geo
Guest Confucious Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 When I was using the Beta I had no problems seeing the memory card on my C600 My laptopo has since gone bang and I'm waiting for my new one and I'll see if it works with that - but just checked the fount of all knowledge and If you are unable to sync media content using Windows Media Player 11 to the storage card, this is a known issue. see http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/wmdc/t-shoot-wmdc.htm
