cingular 3125 sync over BT with SE T610?

I've searched high and low for an answer and can't seem to find it....

I recently got a 3125 and would like to port over my contacts from my old T610. I set up Bluetooth on the 3125 to discoverable and went into the T610 phonebook -> send over Bluetooth.

The T610 recognized the 3125 and started to transfer. About 3 minutes in, the 3125 gave back a message "cannot recognize data" or something like that.

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this not the way I should transfer the contact list?

My laptop does not have BT or infrared (the only options on the T610)
