Around Windows Mobile 6 in 7 and a half minutes

What better way to spend 7 and a half minutes than with a video tour of Windows Mobile courtesy of CrunchGear? Actually, don't answer that :D

The CrunchGear piece entitled 'Windows Mobile 6 in excruciating detail' is exactly that... taken from the Microsoft press conference. Go on, watch it, you know you want to! Heck, why not use a service such as Vixy to convert for playback on your device, then watch later when you 'happen to be sitting down for a few mins' (if you catch my drift).

Moving swiftly onwards... :)

Some nice additions there. Looking forward to it all ready :)

I guess the search exchange mailbox feature requires exchange 2007?

It’s a pity there’s better camera work in The Blair Witch Project* but yeah, interesting.

html email, about frickin' time!! i'm assuming wm6 professional also has this (shame the show isn't a touch model)

Getting a little Jobs-ish with the 'look at our competition's suckiness' stuff lol

Got one right here - Imate JAQ4 - was under strict NDA until yesterday. Love the live mobile - instant, push email. As soon as my Hotmail receives the email, it appears on the handheld! Might end up standardising on that email address now, just for that function.

brykins, what are your impressions of the Jaq4? I have just sold my TyTN and am looking at this phone for its builtin GPS, form-factor and WM6. Thanks.

Also do you know where to pick one up? Thanks

Difficult to say.....mine is a pre-production model kindly given to me by Imate themselves. The form factor is, for me, great. I very rarely use my phone for voice but do a lot of texting and emailing when out and about. The keyboard is really nice and the joystick seems okay to me. The jog dial on the side....I never use it. It's big, but I like big things....and it does feel very solid and well built.

Software....can't comment too much on as it's very flakey, but I am *sure* that that's because it's such an early version.....it still says WM5 on various screens, though it is very much WM6.

As far as where to get them.....I work for one of the main distributors of Imate stuff and we have no firm date (yet - as far as I know) of when we'll be shifting them.

@brykins, thanks for the reply. No issues with the device speed? That has been the loudest complaint with the Jaq3 and the Jaq4 has the added weight of GPS to carry. Thanks again for your reply.
