I'm new to the smartphone world. Recently I acquired an i-mate sp5m, which i believe is quite popular but under different names.

The problem arised when I installed the arabic package that i-mate offers for free. After installation I noticed that all the latin fonts have changed, they are now bold, and I guess they are arial. Also one of the arabic fonts didn't read on the phone, showed little squares instead of characters.

For some reason it occured to me that it could be that on of the previously installed software made a conflict in the font schemes for the arabic software. So I started uninstalling one by one until I was able to point to CodeCity CityTime Alarms v2.0. Whenever I remove this program, the arabic fonts are fixed. When i reinstall it, the arabic characters get confused.

So what I need to do is:

1. Get the native latin fonts back to the original configuration without having to remove the arabic package, which by the way didn't fix the problem. Neither did a ahrd reset, I had to flash the ROM to get the fonts back.

2. Find a workaround for the conflicting programs. I know this might be difficult because not much people are in need of those 2 programs.

And if someone finds that either of these issues have been discussed here proviously, please be kind to guide me.
