Windows mobile 6 phones?

I am looking for a Windows Mobile 6 phone.... does anybody have any idea when they might be released en masse? Or should I not bother waiting? I was thinking of getting the Samsung Blackjack, but I'm open to ideas.

You may as well purchase a phone now that looks like it will get an update for example the Imate SPL has been scheduled for an update, as well as many images of the dash running crossbow as well.

Although this may cause up more riots of "minimum spec testing" I shall just say that maybe the imate spl.

I am looking for something with a full QWERTY keyboard... Do you think it's a worthy investment to get the Samsung Blackjack? I like the phone, it's 3G and it's pretty cheap. The US always seems to get crappier phones and I'd rather get one I can get with my Cingular contract, and the iMate isn't offered at all.

Looks to be for Verizon. I need a 3G phone :)

Any idea on dates for WM6 phone releases? I figure if I have a timeframe I can wait it out until they are released.

Being from the UK I didn't knoew that Verizon didn't have 3G! Sorry.

Lots of phones just announced but I've no idea when they will hit the market.

Once I get my Universal back I'll be puting WM6 on it thoiugh....

Check out xda-developers.com I know there is a WM6 ROM for the Universal, don't know about other phones - these are hacked ROMs so not supported at all.

To elaborate on the WM6 Rom subject.

There are some leaked crossbow roms out at the moment, still in beta stages missing a few vital components.

Only out for the HTC Wizard and the HTC Universal and are downloadable on various sites on the internet (I wont post a link).

Its not recommended that you use this rom as it is not official like Confucious there is a lack of support and Im almost certain it will void you warrenty.

Anyway I wont say anymore! sorry mods if ive said too much.

dont u think making a PPC flip phone is going too far? i mean first some people wouldnt like ppcs cuz of their size, now this is 2 times bigger lol. im sry but i think its too big of a phone.

its not that much bigger really when you compare it
