HTC S620 Exiting Camera App

Hi.

I have an HTC S620 and i've noticed that when I use the standard HTC camera app that comes with the phone there is no exit button in the app. The phone manual states that pressing the End Call button will exit the app and it seems to do this. But if I check in the task manager the camera app is still running in the background.

This is a problem because i'm developing a bit of code that uses the camera and needs to wait until the camera app exits.

Anyone know how to properly shut down the camera app?
