Hi,

I just got an upgrade to my t-mobile compact to the compact 3. I know there is no wi-fi, which is pants, but the gps is fine and I had an sd wi-fi card in my mda and nevere really used it anyway.

So I waant to transfer my tomtom 5.21 over to this device and I ansure of which com port to use.

I am trying to run some basic GPS software, just to see it with a signal, but I can not get it see the gps prort.

Any help would be great.

Other NMEA, COM 4, 9600bps in TomTom

Other programs should use Com 4

There are some programs just will not talk to the GPS chip in the Artemis though.

You can try looking in the GPS settings in start>Settings>system>GPS.

Use the com port listed on the Software tab.

Also running TomTom on a different device will require you to contact TomTom for a new activation code, sometimes this can be a pain to do with their customer support.
