Guest m1k1 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Hi Is it possible to mute ringing (when somebody calling me) whithout dropping call?
Guest chucky.egg Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 On most WM devices (all the ones I've ever had I think) you can just press the volume buttons to mute the ring
Guest chaznet Posted February 17, 2007 Report Posted February 17, 2007 (edited) Yes, it is -- you tap the volume bar (JOGR). But you have to be careful as tap it too long and you 'reject' the call, which is what I believe you're trying to avoid. Search around for instructions on how to change your registry to disable call rejecting via the JOGR bar. Hi Is it possible to mute ringing (when somebody calling me) whithout dropping call? It is possibe, i have the HTC and tapping the JOGR twice didn't mute the call by default, i had to go and make the necessary changes in the Registry. To mute incoming call by double pressing the Joggr: Hkey_current_user-->control Panel-->Jogbar-->Settings-->EnableRingVolumeMute the value data should be set to 1 Hope this helps :) Edited February 19, 2007 by adhussain
Guest chaznet Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 Must be different with the HTC... Out-of-the-box, with the Dash (it's actually in the documentation) if you do a quick tap (once, not twice) during an incoming call, the ringer is muted. If you tap 'n hold for a sec, it rejects. You can modify the registry to do away the the tap 'n hold rejecting part, as I was constantly rejecting calls when it was on. Guest jcatan Posted February 21, 2007 Report Posted February 21, 2007 Is it possible to disable the in-call volume feature and leave the ring silence feature active? I'd like to mute the ringer, but I'm always changing the volume during a call by mistake.
