To upgrade ROM or not? (Orange M3100)

Hi all,

I'm a complete newbie to this kind of thing, but I've read on here that there is a new ROM called AKU 3.3 that it is worth updating the mobile PDA to.

I bought my M3100 in November last year and live in the UK, if that makes any difference.

I just have a few questions:

a) Is upgrading easy to do?

:D What does it fix?

c) Will I lose all the stuff I already have on my PDA if I do the upgrade?

1. No it's not easy, especially of you are newbie.

2. yes you will lose all your data if you upgrade.

the only route is to wait for Orange to release an official rom upgrade with an installer then decide if the benefits they outline make it worthwhile for you.
