the backlit lights on my number pad is less bright, why?

the title speaks for itself.

the backlight on the keypad is not as bright, however the screen isnt dim, its as bright as it gets. anyone know why its doin this? the last thing that happened that i can think of that could have done this was my battery reaching 25%.

and just now as i click a button on my phone the backlights are fully bright and it fades to dim lights.

and now i started doing it again and its doing the dim lights again.

il try a soft reset and see if that fixes it.
