Vario II and Memory cards

Hey people,

I have just got my hands on MDA Vario II, and am looking to get a memory card to plug in it. I have order a 1GB from a side, but slightly curious can putting a memory card effect performance in anyways? Does putting a 1gig or a 2gig card make any difference to performance or speed of the device? Apart from of course giving more space to dump stuff on?

Hey Nisarg,

Welcome to the forum ;)

As far as I can tell, my 2Gb card has made no difference to the overall speed of my VII. Some cards will accept greater write speeds but this is ultimately limited by the device itself. Any applications installed to the card run just as well as they do when installed to the internal memory, in fact the device is likely to run quicker with more internal memory free.
