Voicemail icon not showing

Hey guys!

I have a MTeoR and am using it on the O2 network in Ireland. Whenever I get a voicemail I get a SMS from the network telling me, but there never says 1 new voicemail, but tells me that I have a new SMS. I don't get the voicemail icon at the top of the screen, just the standard envelope. I have set up my voicemail number in the phone settings correctly (I think).

Is this a setup thing on the phone or is it network specific? Would be nice if the phone tells me that I have a voicemail and not a SMS when it is a voicemail message.

Any ideas?

Generally voicemail notifications are network dependant and it's possible that O2 may use SMS as the notification instead.

You should be able to call O2 and ask them for more details.
