Shame...can't get the M700 battery cover off

Hello all

I just received an M700 on an upgrade, but for the life of me I can't work out how to get the new style back cover off ;). The manual says slide it off, I've tried with reasonable force and it's not moving. Would someone please provide a hint on how to get the cover off.
