Guest lolo_bee Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 Hello!, I've done the registry trick to enable storage of ringtones on SD, I've modify Ring\Directory to "\Storage Card\Melodias" and then modified RingTone0 category to "Ring" but when I go to Sounds options, I only get Vibrate and None (Maybe they got other names, my SP is in spanish). If I modify Sound entry in RingTone0 to an absolute path i.e: "\Storage Card\Melodias\Marting Solveig - Rocking Music.wma" it works. But I will need a registry editor everytime i want to change a Ringtone. And I won't be able to assign any custom ringtone to my contacts. I also tried to use other variants instead of "\Storage Card\" but none of them worked. I had a Motorola MPx200 and this worked like a charm, but in my new Qtek 8020, it doesn't work ;) Any ideas?? Thanks in advance

Guest cstmx_ryder Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 so all I have to do is to put the mp3s on my storage card and not in a folder on my storage card to be able to use it as ringtone, without having to copy them to my device?? Or is there other tweeks that I need to do before my BJ can pull custom ringtones from the storage card?? Please help!! Thanks.
