Disabling the PTT button

It seems like I am always inadvertently hitting the PTT button, which requires me to close the pop-window that tells me the PTT feature is not active. Does anyone know of a way to disable this button? It isn't one of the four that can be reassigned under settings.

Thanks

Have any operators around the world actually rolled out a useable PTT? I've always wished they'd hurry up and release it so that we can stop text messaging once and for all!

Yup, we have PTT in Malaysia thru Maxis. HSDPA, UTMS, EDGE, GPRS too. =)

An unlimited usage plan costs approximately 26 Euros a month... ahhaha!

can it be changed to a softkey? something that could be used in games as a configurable key? if not it doesnt matter, but i would like to know if shortcut buttons can be changed to softkeys.
