is there any way to allow multiple pressing of the D-pad?

is there any way to press multiple buttons on the D-pad? probably a registry hack.

ive started this topic asking people to try the 6700 keyboard hack to see if that works, so far 1 reply and that was a no:

No. Its a hardware limitation on the TyTn. See here

hm i see. how is this different from when the 6700 was thought to have only 1 button pressed at a time, then a simple exe file was brought to us to fix the problem.

Doesn't actually fix the problem though does it? It is a memory resident program that intercetps all key presses and processes them before handing it on. I have no doubt some enterprising soul could write an equivalent program if they felt compelled to do so. To actually 'fix' it a new driver would need to be written. HTC were aware of the issue so if the new driver doesn't appear on more recent ROMs I would think they have no intention of doing anything about it.

well im glad that HTC knows about it. whether they fix it or not is a different story. i suppose we'll see on the upcomming ROMs
