Hi Paul,

Not sure where else to post this so figure here will do.

The device specific areas/forums are a great idea. Really helpful. But one thing I think each section could do with is a specification thread - a sticky obviously - where the spec of that machine is posted. This would include all the stats and also all the names of the known incarnations of that device. When looking for a new phone, being able to browse through these posts would be extremely useful.

Failing that a single posting under the main PPC and Smartphone sections with a big cross comparison of all current models would be very useful.

Most of the device-specific forums have a Pinned topic which lists the basic spec and generally has examples of the re-branding that device is sold under

I think I remember seeing a topic about somebody (Paul?) working on a definitive list of all the devices. Not a small job though.

There was a huge HTC cross-comparison around here at some stage. I realise that leaves out quite a few other manufacturers though.

How's about a MoDaCo wiki? A section on each phone that we can all add specs to ;)

This is constant on-going work but has slipped due to time constraints.

When we have the time, all phone sections will have a pinned post for that particular device.
