Hi all, I have a problem viewing .mov files on PictPocket Cinema v4.0. on Vario II. I have several .mov files on 1GB MicroSD and I have .mov and other require extensions associated with PictPocket. But everytime I try to run this it shows an error:

"Not enough memory or file storage space is not available to complete this operation".

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Wow!! No replies...

Ok.. I had these files (250MB approx) copied directly to the SD Card using the card reader on PC. And theres a problem with all of them. However, I seem to get different error messages for different files when try to play them. They all roughly should be around same sizes 2-4 MBs (1-2 exceptions; largest 21MB). I also seem to get follow message when try play another file.

"Image data file corrupted or file has an unknown format."

I have also tried moving one small movie back to my PC and copy it to phone memory, via ActiveSync and allowing it to convert if it wants to. I however, think this shouldnt matter in anyways as it would not recognize the format anyways.

I am going to try deleting them, and recopy them. But dont have any great expectations for it to work. I think theres something either about PictPocket setting, or something may be like a codec or 'something' that I am missing; or something needs to be done to Vario II (least possibilities I think)

Any suggestions, anyone?

Thanks in advance!

OK - Another interesting find. I just downloaded the .mov sample from the DigiSoft's (PictPocket 's mum)website and that worked. I downloaded it and copied via ActiveSync connected... and it worked like magic.

What could be wrong with my files? Too old may be?? Special codecs? How do I compare these files to identify the difference! Is it complusory that everything going onto my Vario II has to go through ActiveSync? Cant believe - 250MB surely will take ages to copy (& if it converts) over!

Too many questions.. reply please!! Help!!
