HELP ME: A NAIVE VIRGIN TO WINDOWS OS 5.0!!!!

Hey all,

I recently got Verizon's PN-820 Window Smartphone. I know absolutely nothing about customizing a phone of this type with software. Please help "pimp out" my phone. Any and all suggestions/advice are welcome. Primarily, I'm looking for a step-by-step tutorial of how to acquire and successfully run "Pocket Nester," an NES emulator. I tried unzipping the file on my desktop and mailing the .exe to my smartphone, but that doesn't work. Don't know what to do. I am also looking to find the easiest way to put custom ringtones on it.

Please please please please help me, it would be much appreciated!!!!

There used to be a "First 24 hours with a smartphone" thread, which had loads of useful stuff in it, but it seems to have gone (well, I can't find it)

Get yourself some nice homescreens:

Put your ringtones in \Application Data\Sounds

I use cut-down MP3s or WAVs for message and ringtones. You can find loads of movie sound effects and tune samples on the internet - generally the phone will only ring for 30 seconds max, often 15 seconds, so short samples are fine to use.

If your phone is "application locked" (which means it wont let you install more software) try this:
