Guest soup dragon Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Hi, I've recently installed Opera Mini on my Vario II and think it's better than IE for a few sites (such as Sky Remote Record!). The only problem I've come across is that it seems to be a memory-hog and sometimes forces a reset to get things moving again. I'm wondering if I intalled the wrong version (Wizard version as I couldn't see a Vario II/Hermes version). For those who are happlity using Opera Mini, which version did you install and are you experincing any problems with it? Ted

Guest psionandy Posted April 15, 2007 Report Posted April 15, 2007 (edited) I use Opera Mobile.. and think it's definatley worth paying for... I also tried Opera Mini (just to see if I could get it to work) from the opera website the other day. I was quite impressed by it.. the rendering is better than PIE.. but I would still recommend Opera Mobile instead of opera Mini.. and as there's a beta about at the moment you can try it for ages before you decide to buy (or not as the case may be) Edited April 15, 2007 by psionandy

Guest psionandy Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 From what I understand on the site, the beta expires on June the 1st, so you end up with a nonfunctional app... but then you've had a premium web browser for a couple of months and can un-install it any time you like...
